Meeting with Ghanaian Traditional Leaders

H.E. Mavis Ama Frimpong held a meeting to extend her warmest New Year's greetings to - Royal Highnesses - The House of Chiefs, The Paramount Chiefs/Akukudam, The Head Chiefs of the Traditional Council and the Queen Mothers - all of France - and exchange views on matters of mutual interest, particularly on the upcoming 69th Independence Anniversary celebration of Ghana in March 2026.

The meeting also provided an opportunity for Her Excellency the Ambassador to formally engage with the Ghanaian traditional leaders on ways of strengthening collaborations in support of Ghanaian nationals and the promotion of Ghana's cultural heritage in France.

The Embassy attaches great importance to the role of the traditional authorities in promoting Ghana's cultural heritage, unity and development both at home and in France.
